A joke, a joke. My mom bought me the book from Archie McPhee's (oh my god. There is only one store in the world, and only in Seattle, WA. That was shocking). Archie McPhee's is a joke store, and it has things like Devil Duckies, rubber chickens, mock action figures, extendable forks (for stealing other people's food), etc.
So, my mom bought me "The Art of Kissing" as a joke. It was when I was about 13, so yeah. Fresh teenager, she must have wanted to tease me with such things.
And just to laugh at myself, took this picture of me reading it. It's a funny book, because it was written a really long time ago.. So it's all old fashioned.. It's funny how serious it is, too. Yeah, I'ma hopeless romantic, so this pic expresses that, but no, I don't go reading books like these.
